Overview

Bring the family and come join us for our annual Old Clinton War Days! During this event, historic Clinton comes alive with the sights and sounds of Civil War Georgia, a reminder of its occupation by Union soldiers during the March to the Sea. Clinton was the early seat of Jones County between 1808 and 1905.

Visit the camps, demonstrations, and booths of our Civil War re-enactors, and don't miss their battle recreation at 2 p.m. each day!

Tour the 1809-10 McCarthy-Pope House, the early-1900s Miss Annie's Store, and the 1889 Pine Ridge School Museum.

Take a stroll and admire the architecture of the antebellum houses, buildings, and the 1821 Methodist Church and burial grounds.

Visit the crafts booths and food stands.
